From May 18th to June 2nd, 2008, the BGI Earthquake Disaster Prevention Working Group went to the Sichuan disaster area to participate in the post-disaster reconstruction of the “5.12 Wenchuan Earthquake” to detect possible sudden health issues and infectious diseases. BGI employees also voluntarily donated money and items to assist the Wenchuan earthquake’s victims.
